Wiring
and Installation
The
components are supplied pre-plugged and ready to install, with the
exception of the following wires that must be connected to the
vehicle:
-
Blue
Wire - Connect to ignition positive power supply.
-
Black
Wire - Connect to a negative power supply.
-
Red
Wire - Connect to the Reversing light positive feed.
-
Green Wire - Not Used.
The sensors should be mounted on a vertical surface at a height of
between 50-70cm from the ground.
System
Activation
When
reverse gear is engaged the rear sensors are
automatically activated. The
front sensors
are activated with the vehicle
ignition. Automatic buzzer mute function
enabled when obstacle in front of vehicle remains stationary or moves away. Switch on side of Display to adjust volume and mute
sound (0 1 2).
The front sensors are active when the
vehicle ignition is on, during normal driving conditions the sensors will
detect objects such as high kerbs and other vehicles. To avoid false
triggering we recommend that a Front Sensor Switch is fitted to
enable the front sensors
to be switched either manually or automatically
