Notes regarding fitting Parking Sensors to Pick
up Trucks:
(1) Only shield ("S" Type) sensors are recommended
for use in metal bumpers.
(2) When the hole is drilled in the bumper, the
bare metal must be treated with a suitable metal paint to prevent rust forming
around the sensor.
(3) A kit with Long sensor leads is recommended
for Pick up's so that the CPU can be mounted in the cab. The CPU should
never be positioned behind the rear lights.
